POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager – Hybrid Therapies will be responsible for upstream support of AtriCure’s Hybrid product portfolio. This role will focus on upstream initiatives, interfacing with research and development, scientific affairs, sales, commercial, and professional education internal teams as well as physician KOLs to define, scope, and collaborate on new products for Hybrid Therapies. This role must be able to work on cross-functional teams in support of developing and maintaining product pipeline projects to expand the Hybrid portfolio. This includes Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, Regulatory, and Legal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Contribute to overall Hybrid Therapies franchise strategy roadmap
- Partner with commercial team to identify, develop, and manage upstream product pipeline
- Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to assist with voice-of-customer activities and deliver needs assessment for future product launches
- Educate, advise, formally present to, and interact with customers in support of business goals/objectives
- Propose positioning, messaging, and market segmentation strategies for new products.
- Identify opportunities to gather VOC from physicians on product pipeline at major medical conferences
- Support assigned products/projects which may cross franchises where appropriate to align experience and support the business need
- Monitor competitive landscape to enable the franchise to develop better informed strategies, input into product pipeline, and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders
- Assist in qualitative and quantitative voice-of-customer input for implementation of upstream product and pipeline development
- Work with all departments to execute effective product launches and ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals
- Participate in onboarding of new team members in product marketing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, clinical applications, or a related field
- Minimum of seven plus (7+) years successful sales/marketing or related experience, especially in downstream marketing
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, such as sales teams
- Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers
- Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter
- Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel 20-35% domestic and internationally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Medical device experience, especially cardiac surgery or cardiovascular
- Clinical experience in acute or outpatient setting
- Experience with international organizations and customers
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
