Digital Marketing Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
AtriCure is looking for an eager intern to support our growing business on the digital media side. We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our team. As an intern, you will be hands-on with projects and daily tasks that use digital media platforms to promote AtriCure’s brand image. This intern will be able to apply classroom-based knowledge to projects and gain essential skills needed to be career ready. AtriCure is dedicated to developing successful leaders, and we strive to provide real, hands-on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of social media content calendars.
- Moderate and respond to comments across social media profiles.
- Identify key opinion leaders on social media and follow their conversations, recommending new content ideas and engagement opportunities.
- Schedule social media posts for X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram using a 3rd party tool.
- Maintain AtriCure’s YouTube Channel.
- Recommend future social content ideas and assist in the development of monthly content calendars.
- Help develop strategies for capturing target audience and current customer engagement.
- Compile monthly reports by extracting and analyzing data from social media platforms.
- Extract and save digital advertising receipts weekly.
- Assist with project management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled as a sophomore or junior in an accredited college or university in marketing or a related field of study
- Knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
