Position Summary
Reporting directly to the China Country Leader, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing business through channel partners in designated markets. This role will focus on establishing, maintaining, and expanding productive partnerships with sub-dealers to achieve or exceed regional sales targets.
The role also involves collaborating closely with the Marketing and Therapy Development teams to support key account development, implement local marketing initiatives, and strengthen clinical adoption. The ideal candidate will be a strategic relationship builder with a strong track record in channel management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Target Achievement
•Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sub-dealer orders and end-user consumption targets.
•Collaborate with sub-dealers to develop and execute sales strategies and account plans.
•Regularly monitor sales data and implement corrective actions as needed.

2.Sub-Dealer Management
•Proactively identify, screen, and appoint qualified sub-dealers in assigned territories.
•Conduct structured business reviews with sub-dealers (bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
•Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key personnel at partners.
•Drive dealer engagement using the Awareness–Trial–Repeat model to support new account development.
•Support partners in collecting and analyzing key account intelligence and market insights.

3. Key Opinion Leader and Society Engagement
•Develop and maintain strong multi-level relationships with regional KOLs and medical societies.
•Facilitate clinical engagement and education to support therapy adoption and patient outcomes.

4.Cross-Functional Collaboration
•Partner with Marketing and Therapy Development teams to plan and execute field-level initiatives.
•Assist in segmentation, targeting, and positioning of KOLs; drive execution of the KOL action plan.
•Track performance of marketing and education activities; provide field feedback to the China leadership team.
•Collaborate with Therapy Development and T&E teams to identify and address clinical education needs.
•Support delivery of roundtable meetings, training events, and physician education at targeted accounts.
•Collect competitive intelligence and market feedback from sub-dealers and report regularly to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education
•Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medical field is required.


Experience
•Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the medical device industry.
•Experience managing distributors is required.
•Experience in launching new products or therapies in China is highly preferred.
•Previous people management experience is a plus.

Skills
•Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•Effective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
•Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Basic proficiency in business English is required.

Other Requirements:

•Must be based in Chengdu.
•Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
