Senior Analyst, Manufacturing & Supply Chain
AtriCure, Inc. has an opening for the Senior Analyst, Manufacturing & Supply Chain in Mason, OH with remote work permitted two days per week.
The Senior Analyst, Manufacturing & Supply Chain will consult and collaborate with business teams to interpret, analyze current practices and systems for manufacturing and supply chain operations: conduct value-stream mapping: lead and facilitate design sessions to re-engineer, continuously improve complex business processes and associated data models to streamlines and improve operation efficiency, and maximize productivity to achieve better economies of scale. This role will serve as a liaison between business subject matter experts, business process and data owners, IT development teams(s), external vendors and lead sessions to enable the improved manufacturing and supply chain business practices. The Senior Analyst, Manufacturing & Supply Chain will assist in planning, executing, quality assurance testing and deploying technology solutions using the Agile framework and project delivery methodology in adherence to AtriCure’s policies and procedures.
Duties include:
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders, IT, external vendors to model and analyze current manufacturing and supply chain practices, supporting technologies, identify key challenges, pain points, and future state opportunities to bridge the gap between current practices and LEAN best practices;
- Collect and analyze data in support of business request feasibility by engaging with business partners to analyze business processes, conduct value stream mapping, summarize findings, and quantify and qualify the business need;
- Assist the team in the design of future state manufacturing and supply chain solutions based on LEAN best practices in the following areas: demand forecasting and planning, sales order management (order-to-cash), material resource planning (MRP), procurement (procure-to-pay), advanced planning and scheduling (APS, MPS), inventory and warehouse management, shipping, and distribution, MES, manufacturing automation;
- Translating business needs to technical team for feature and user story development with acceptance criteria;
- Work with software / hardware vendor(s) to perform basic mockups, configurations on the target technology platform to facilitate future state solutioning workshops and align with out-of-the-box capabilities to minimize configuration and customization effort;
- Facilitate story refinement and develop tasks to support feature outline and objectives. Guide team through building test scripts for verification and validation and capture results by communicating gaps in development exposed during testing to ensure delivered solution meets all requirements and assisting in addressing all gaps, bugs, and missed requirements;
- Assist Project Lead / Scrum Master to keep projects on schedule and hold team accountable to the AtriCure delivery process;
- Provide baseline KPI(s) to measure success of the proposed solution/enhancement, post release;
- Assist with the development of training materials, socializing, and training business users on the future state technology solutions and mitigating solution gaps;
- Assisting in the authoring and release of project documentation required for the initial deployment and subsequent sustainment of the production solution (workflows, process maps, final QA reports, turnover documentation, procedures); and
- Provide critical reporting and analysis of business process performance and make recommendations for enhancements, cost savings initiatives and improvements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Computing technology, Data Sciences, or closely related field (foreign equivalent degree accepted)
- 4 years of progressive, post degree experience as an IT Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Business Process Improvement Specialist or related role.
- Also requires: 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- Analyzing and re-engineering complex business processes and associated data models to streamline and improve operational efficiency and maximize productivity to achieve better economies of scale;
- Facilitating requirements gathering workshops to capture business, functional, data model, and system level requirements for enabling technologies;
- Serving as a liaison between the business subject matter experts, business process and data owners, and IT development team(s) to ensure the end solution adequately meets all requirements;
- Interpreting, understanding, and analyzing complex legacy business processes, systems, and associated data;
- Designing future state data models and business processes;
- Applying any of the various application development lifecycles: Agile, Spiral Model, RUP, or Waterfall;
- Working in the manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain industry;
- Providing project oversight of the work of team members to execute projects to design and implement operational improvements to increase productivity;
- Reducing costs or increasing economies of scale for manufacturing & supply chain business functions;
- Providing input to quality assurance strategies, authoring, and executing test scripts and playing a significant role in the incident resolution process by influencing the testing assurance strategy and confirming adherence to the actual execution; and
- Assisting technology & business development teams in the design and implementation of manufacturing and supply chain optimization solutions in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or Warehouse Shipping & Scheduling (WSS).
Experience may be gained concurrently. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
