Role Description:

The Global Banking & Global Markets Anti-Money Laundering (GBAM AML) organization is a central control function which governs, facilitates and oversees the global end-to-end GBAM AML program across all GBAM businesses and jurisdictions through the implementation of processes and controls to effectively manage AML and economic sanctions risks.

The team performs AML Know Your Customer/Client Due Diligence (KYC/CDD) and covers refresh (periodic review) as its core activity.

This role is within the GBAM AML EMEA Refresh team, whose key requirements are to perform periodic due diligence on clients.

The emphasis is on effectively and accurately using data to drive operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for supporting GB & GM AML operational functions and programs through routine and ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, presentation as well as, providing support for the EMEA Refresh team managers.

Will work closely with operational teams and executive leadership to support existing routines, identify process efficiencies while supporting transformational design and building new capabilities and routines.

Skills that will help (optional):

• AML Operational knowledge and experience

• Project management skills, attention to detail and ability to drive projects to conclusion

• Ability to navigate in a highly complex organization and operate effectively in changing environments

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Time Management and organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deliverable schedule

• Self-Starter, motivated and reliable; ability to work well and seamlessly within a team without a continuous high level of guidance

• Ability to identify process gaps and remediation to protect the Bank from Risk

Desired Skills:

  • Business Controls operational experience/knowledge
  • Risk mindset with a track record of managing operational controls against complex regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint with strong data analytics abilties
  • Sound understanding of AML Laws, Rules, and Regulations
