Our business
The Global Markets Securitised Products Group (GMSP) is focused on originating, financing and structuring both public and private securitisations backed by a range of asset classes including residential mortgages and commercial and consumer assets.
We are currently recruiting for an Associate / Vice President to join the Structured Finance Origination segment within the GMSP team, based in Sydney. The securitisation & warehouse credit market in Sydney is extremely active and this role will offer the successful applicant a chance to develop their skills and network in this space with a market leading team, which has significantly grown its footprint in recent years.
Key Duties
- Assist in establishing, executing and financing private securitisation facilities and arrange access to public capital markets for new and existing clients
- Attend client meetings as you build your network and experience
- Help to generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
- Perform extensive financial, credit risk, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
- Assist in preparing client pitch books, marketing materials, internal credit papers, analysing credit risk and modelling structured credit transactions
- Interact with intermediaries including law firms, rating agencies and accountants
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in banking, finance, accounting or consulting
- Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Desired
- Experience within securitisation, structured finance, debt markets, illiquid credit asset classes
- Finance and/or law related degree
- Modelling experience and detailed market sector knowledge
