Bank of America’s Enterprise Media Monitoring team is a center of excellence (COE) within the CAO division and is responsible for risk monitoring and business intelligence reporting covering our brand, the financial services industry and the environment in which we operate.
We are looking for an experienced Media Monitoring Analyst to join the EMM team to support growing demand across many lines of business.
Qualified candidates need to exhibit the following skills:
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using media monitoring analytic platforms
Ability to create and maintain complex data structures to support research in a changing environment
Understanding of the macro social media environment and industry overall
Strong writing skills; can distill insights into crisp format at the level of detail appropriate for the audience
Experience with data verification, quality control and analytics
Deep understanding and experience in risk identification and assessment
Attention to detail and ability to analyze data at a tactical quantitative and strategic qualitative level
Ability to synthesize data into meaningful business insights including engaging visualizations
Constructs complex queries and rules using Boolean logic to maximize results in different tools
Ability to work closely with internal business partners to explain the impact of data and findings
Comfortable handling multiple types of reports with tight deadlines and large amounts of data
Research background and experience with a brand, agency, or social media tool provider.
This role will:
Participate in active monitoring and reporting of key themes, trends, and emerging topics.
Recognize and address and inconsistencies or inaccuracies in tools, data, analytics
Continually improve data quality within analytical models
Work individually and as part of a team in a collaborative process to create deliverables
Prepare deep-dive analysis of social discussion around topics, themes, events, and the macro business environment.
Leverage our suite of tools to manage, and analyze data, produce metrics, visuals, and analysis
Adhere to departmental processes and guidelines, standards, and quality assurance routines
Connect key insights to business outcomes during the analytic process
Work closely with internal business clients and our outside partners
Required Capabilities:
Expert skill level in social media monitoring tools, such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, or Sprinklr
Strong analytic background and business acumen
Ability to present findings in form of polished deliverables with actionable insights, engaging visuals and supporting facts
Financial services industry background a plus
