Responsible for programs/projects specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Project responsibility requires responsibility for staff and budget. Serves as primary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Integrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan. Management experience with small to mid-size teams. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Typically 5+ plus years of program management experience.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Client Protection Organization is looking for a Program Manager to join our growing team. In the role, you will be responsible for the execution of initiatives that have significant impact on how the company authenticates customers across all channels (call center, financial center, digital, etc.). The role serves as primary contact to senior leaders for critical authentication change initiatives. This role is accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.
This role creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective project/initiative setup, execution, and control and ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Role integrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan.
In addition, this role requires strong written, visual and verbal communications skills. Role is expected to communicate, influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to manage risk with the Authentication Portfolio. This role will regularly report on authentication theme health to senior leadership across several bank organizations.
In addition, this role requires strong knowledge of the Claims/Fraud Industry and be able to critically make funding decisions based on current trends. This role will be expected to manage cross functional teams and coordinate work efforts.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• 5+ years of Claims/Fraud industry experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needed
• Ability to effectively matrix manage several resources across several businesses within the bank
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Admin.
• Project Management certification
• Industry Fraud Knowledge
