Bank of America’s Quantitative Finance Group is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. The Analyst must be a self-starter with advanced math and programming skills who is comfortable working hands-on with market data, solving problems, and writing production code. The Analyst will work with the existing team of mathematicians, statisticians, economists, traders, and programmers to research, design, and implement a suite of models and tools for the management of cash, liquidity, and interest rate risk within Corporate Treasury.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Advanced R programming skills
- 5+ years experience in a relevant field
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a cooperative, time-sensitive, market-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Ability to work individually and with the group on complex problem solving
- Analytical skills, critical thinking and a strong desire to learn
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of financial markets, liquidity and risk
- Ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of constituents in verbal, written and presentation forms
- Experience with R Shiny
- Experience with SQL and databases
- Experience with UNIX/LINUX, git, python, perl
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- 5+ years experience in a relevant field
