The Team:
The EMEA Financial Regulatory Reporting Technology team build enterprise scale solutions supporting the bank’s Finance division. Working as part of a global team, we leverage a wide range of technologies, working on some of the most important projects in the bank. We work in an agile fashion and are always striving to improve our processes. We offer the opportunity to research new technologies to help shape our strategic platform.
Role Description:
We are looking for a Senior Technology Manager to join our Financial Regulatory Reporting Technology team, to help drive the development of our enterprise technology platform. You will lead a team of senior Oracle software engineers and help to define and drive the engineering culture and approach, as well as providing technical guidance to your team as they deliver solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and technical direction to a global team of software engineers
- Accountability for delivery of high quality, highly performant solutions
- Drive product development with focus on quality, usability & performance
- Focus on automation and continual improvement of development team efficiency & quality
- Recruiting & building high performing engineering teams
What we are looking for:
Required Skills
- Extensive hands-on development experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience leading a global team of software engineers
- Proven experience designing & developing enterprise scale solutions
- Ability to document, design and code for maintainability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible
- Experience in Python or Java development is advantageous
- Experience with automated SQL unit testing
