RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Originate, structure, and execute Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked bonds in partnership with debt capital markets groups.

  • Build and demonstrate subject-matter expertise on ESG investor attitudes and responsible investment market.

  • Provide comprehensive analysis on Latin America-based clients, ESG Fixed Income trends, and Market events.

  • Partner with colleagues in investment and corporate banking industry groups to develop sustainable financing and disclosure strategies and present them to clients.

  • Interact closely with debt capital markets, syndicate, sales, and trading to originate and execute deals.

  • Follow internal protocols and procedures for exceptional deal execution.

  • Support investment and corporate banking industry groups as the subject matter expert on sustainability issues in Latin America, including regulatory developments and maintaining connectivity with relevant local sustainability rating/certification/assurance/data providers in Latin America.

  • Perform comprehensive ESG analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions.

  • Research and analyze trends across sectors and sustainability themes.

  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.

  • Conduct research using Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, and other financial and environmental/social databases to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Supporting investment and corporate banking industry groups as the subject matter expert on sustainability issues in Latin America, including regulatory developments and maintaining connectivity with relevant local sustainability rating/certification/assurance/data providers in Latin America.

  • Performing comprehensive ESG analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions.

  • Researching and analyzing trends across sectors and sustainability themes.

  • Preparing client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.

  • Conducting research using Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, and other financial and environmental/social databases to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

  • 30% domestic travel required, as necessary.
