The Team:
- Part of the GBS Central Team, as newly formed team.
- All the team are SME’s in their own areas.
- Friendly team and helpful team, supporting the GBS Scrum Teams
- Team are proud when there are no issues after a release is deployed into Production
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small team of GBS End-to End SME’s to provide a proactive function to support improvement in GBS delivery quality
- Provide a GBS End to End Holistic approach to development and testing.
- Prior to start of Release sprints provide a review of end to end testing and UAT
- Identify synergies between projects in a Release and streamline testing to increase
- Review of Delivery KPI’s with recommendations and ownership of process improvements across teams.
- Provide independent check and balance review to the delivery teams outside the resource constraints of the GBS Scrum teams
- Review of Production Incidents for lessons learnt. Incidents in scope to include both immediate RTL impact and overall incident trend
- Ensure adherence to Enterprise Testing Standards and maintenance of testing deliverable.
- Performing Quality Control on Coding & Test Deliverables and assist with any Audits.
- Interface with Production Support teams to build joint improvement plans across CIO & CTO.
- Accountability for the actual delivery remains with the delivery teams
- Working with the GBS Delivery teams to support and assure GBS Design and estimation.

- Business Domain expertise in the Wholesale Banking business (Payments and Accounting)
- Experience in Mainframe Technologies – COBOL, z/OS, IMS
- Communication skills
- Organised and able to resolve complex issues
