Process Overview*

Investment & Banking Solutions Technology team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and GWIM products catering to Consumer, Small Business and Preferred customers and GWIM clients. The products include Credit Cards for Retail as well as Small Business customers, Deposits, Consumer Lending and Client Underwriting (including Vehicle Loans and Home Loans), Investment Products for GWIM and US Trust clients and Retirement products for Institutions. This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as .Net, Java/J2EE, Angular JS, Mainframe, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle.

Job Description*

Position is for a Senior Test Engineer for IBST Wealth QA team with experience in design, implementation of Manual and automation test framework along with Financial Domain experience. This individual will have a deep functional understanding of our suite of products, and design/implement Manual and automation test cases accordingly to ensure their functional coverage and efficiency. This role will work closely with the U.S. leadership team to ensure the system integration testing and end to end testing & automation execution is completed for the planned releases of new functionality for this new business area.

Responsibilities*

• IBST Wealth Tech tester responsible for validation of critical financial trading transactions across numerous systems and business functions.
• Person must create test scenarios, test data and test cases based upon available user stories.
• Person must execute test cases, verify results, and document defects found during testing.
• Person must develop automation scripts and routines, have a strong data analytical skillset, and be able to work in a high stress environment.
• Conducts end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC.
• Support testing activities for independent and integrated releases.
• Support BAU Regression and regression maintenance work which is performed for every release.

Experience Range*

• 08 to 15 Years.

Foundational Skills*

• 8 -15 years’ experience in Web-based technologies & Mainframe testing.
• Execute manual and automation testing.
• Database Query Knowledge.
• Worked on Test Management Tools (ALM & JIRA Preferable).
• Flexible in Working hours/Weekend Production support.
• Agile methodology, Strong data analytics & Good communication skills.
• Well versed in Automation testing (UFT/Selenium Preferable).
• Selenium scripting knowledge.
• Gherkin scripting.
• Experience in UAT/Usability testing of applications.

Desired Skills*

• Finance Domain preferable.
• Certifications related to Testing – ISTQB, UFT, TOSCA etc.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements.
• Willingness to embrace and learn new technologies.
• High energy, confident, ambitious, and self-motivated individual.
• Must be an effective communicator.
