Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement complex network/security engineering activities involving in the cross-functional technical support, systems development, perimeter, and data center capabilities.
Establish the input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordinating the subsystems design, and integration of total system.
Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and vendors.
Participate in the resolution process for complex problems and analysis of situations where data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Design network and network security architectures for perimeter network access including integration with associated management and monitoring systems, using Cisco and Aruba associated management platforms.
Perform accurate testing of network/security platform code to ensure stability of future release implementations.
Integrate new business and security requirements into existing and/or new network security solutions to align to the security policy requirements for a financial institution under federal regulation including NIST, PCI, TRUSTSEC.
Follow Agile/Jira project processes to ensure consistency and tracking of project progress and workflow.
Utilize Microsoft Visio designing complex High-Level Design/Low Level Design documents detailing Network and Security architectures and their accompanying data flows.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing network and network security architectures for perimeter network access including integration with associated management and monitoring systems, using Cisco and Aruba associated management platforms;
Performing accurate testing of network/security platform code to ensure stability of future release implementations;
Integrating new business and security requirements into existing and/or new network security solutions to align to the security policy requirements for a financial institution under federal regulation including NIST, PCI, TRUSTSEC;
