Job Description:
TO BE USED ONLY IN ORGANIZATIONS DELIVERING SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS: Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization) that may or may not involve a software change. Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team. Possess a foundational understanding of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization. Developing an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software). Analyzes the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process. Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Analyzes functional and data requirements. Answers the questions: What does the software do and how does it store information? Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting. Identifies, documents and troubleshoots application related problems. Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications. Creates and maintains training materials for end-users. Individual contributor.

Job responsibilities:

  • This role would assist with efforts related to MRA #2 Board Management and Oversight. This job will assist with the Governance and Oversight of the Midrange Operating System and Midrange Database tools/agents. Key responsibilities of the job include helping to ensure agents and tools that are critical to the Bank are being properly and thoroughly tested, deployed in a phased rollout fashion, are at a minimum version level (n, n-1), are deployed to all targeted systems (saturation), and that those agents and tools are working as intended (health).
  • Job expectations include a Business Analytics focused role, typically requiring an understanding of Application Management, Software Development Lifecycle Management, and Deploy and Release Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • The role is highly collaborative and requires strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and team building skills in a professional environment.
  • Over three years’ experience doing documentation using a variety of tools (MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, etc.).
  • Experience with SDLC (Agile Methodologies/Waterfall) and Project Management Framework.
  • Able to fully manage and execute against standard program and security policies, including Risk and Issue Management, Governance, Resource Management, Dependency Management, etc.
  • Agility when dealing with change.
  • Drive learning, communications engagement.
  • working knowledge and Project Management experience.
  • Experience working in application analysis/development environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Communication - Speaks clearly, concisely, and knows the audience.
  • Any Scrum and Release Management experience would be very helpful
  • Scheduling - Understands dependencies and the difference between critical path deliverables and those that are not. Understands the impacts of schedule delays on financials, risk, and strategy and can balance the need for escalation with non-impacting schedule misses and escalate appropriately when necessary or manage it independently when escalation is not needed.
  • Risk Management - Understands risk criteria and always considers risk but is not crippled by risk adversity. Balances the need to act with the need to be risk adverse
  • Critical Thinking - Has the ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources and objectively make reasoned judgment.
  • Task Management - Understands the work that needs to get done, the resources completing the work, and aligns tasks to the right people, even if the right person occasionally isn’t in that particular role
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle.​
