Process Overview:

Global Wholesale Banking Technology (GWBT) comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.

Job Description

The Automation Test Lead is responsible for delivering or participating in Iteration testing, Systems Integration Testing and Industry testing for change efforts being released into environments encompassing multiple technology platforms.

He / She should be able to lead and coordinate the automation testing tasks, by engaging with various testing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with the Project team/Scrum team in regard to planning, governance, delivery and scheduling, including sign-off of a project.
• The Automation Test Lead may be required to provide estimates and re-estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Schedule and chair meetings to assign and manage issues that are blocking testing progress.
• Monitor progress against plan and provide timely status updates/reports to project teams
• Drive Automation scope discussions and work towards improving the Automation coverage for the assigned projects
• Responsible for Test plan creation and driving the Test Automation activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Raise formal risks and issues impacting the project and where necessary, escalate issues to the Test Manager.
• Identify and implement improvements to the automation testing process, including the optimization of Tosca test scripts and framework.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers on Tosca automation best practices and troubleshooting.
• Provide weekly progress report to the Project Manager and Stakeholders
• Monitor number of defects, rate of resolution, highlighting any issues to the Test Manager
• Design, develop, implement and maintain a Keyword/Hybrid/Data driven automation framework.
• Develop and maintain data driven tests for regression.
• Provide input to the End-to-End test strategy.
• Create or contribute to project test plans.
• Where required, secure and coordinate the test environments required across the various platforms
• Contribute to maintenance of the automation test pack.
• Initiate continuous test process improvements.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications (if any): TOSCA AS1/AS2

Experience Range: 6 to 8 years

Foundational Skills:

Experience with Test automation tool TOSCA , QTest ,Octane and Litmus

Desired Skills:
Banking domain, Agile,SAFe

Work Timings: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
