Process Overview*:
The Global Technology Service Management function is a new team charted with designing, improving, and overseeing next generation Service Management policies, processes, and solutions. Our mission is to ensure the appropriate controls and capabilities are in place to enable the delivery of stable, resilient, and available technology services to our customers and employees.
Job Description*:
The IT Service Management (ITSM) Governance Analyst is a key role within the Technology Service Management Office, a group that enforces standardized governance methods across all ITSM processes. This net new role in the organization will ensure that risk is managed in an optimized and effective way for those processes. The primary areas of governance management work will include the following activities: risk and issue tracking, coordination of governance and stakeholder forums, monitoring of control metrics, and participation in monthly governance reporting in support of multiple IT operational processes.
Responsibilities*:
- Capture and log status for risk and issue remediation action steps
- Support identification and assessment of new risks and issues, including remediation action planning
- Support operations of governance forums including managing invitations, agendas, and meeting minutes
- Monitor control metric execution and participate in control monthly reporting
- Participate in control testing as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience Range: 5+ years
- Certifications: ITIL V4
Foundational skills:
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
- Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven ability to document clear justifications, risk/issue impacts, and remediation plan steps
- Strong
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
Desired Skills*:
- Servicenow ITSM Workstreams and CMDB.
- Excellent communication, analytical, conceptual thinking, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate to key partners
- ServiceNow CSA certification, CMDB or ITAM implementation specialist certification
