Job Description:
This role is a junior level role focusing on a variety of mortgage products, specifically on the Agency Mortgage Structuring and Trading desk. This position is generally the first step into a mortgage trading position on the desk. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of an industry leading team of traders with an investor base which spans the globe.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist senior traders in structuring and marketing Agency CMOs (Collateralized Mortgage Obligations)
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure smooth functioning of the new issue CMO structuring process.
- Help ensure trades and risks are reflected accurately
- Run risk reports and reconcile P&L
- Compile market share and league tables data
Skills:
- Be comfortable in a fast paced, high volume trading and structuring role
- Be highly motivated, eager to learn and extremely detail oriented
- Have a strong analytical and quantitative skillset
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of experience is preferred
