Job Description:

Associate/Vice President, Trading Analytics Product Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our Front Office Global Markets team, working directly with Traders to deliver the next generation of data-driven trading analytics. This is a Trading Floor-based role and plays a critical part in turning complex data into actionable insights that drive trading performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering/development background and a passion for building impactful front-office tools. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining UIs, chatbot intents, and applications using internal GenAI capabilities and modern development frameworks. A demonstrated ability in data analysis and visualization is essential.

This role requires intellectual curiosity, energy, and motivation to tackle both business and technical challenges, with a willingness to learn new skills across domains—from front-end engineering to data modelling and platform integration. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced Trading Floor environment, working closely with Traders, Quants, and Technologists.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High motivation and desire to understand the business and adopt new technologies as needed

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration in high-pressure environments

  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with Sales, Trading, Product, and Technology teams

  • Modern Python development expertise with sound engineering practices (modular structure, documentation, testing, CI/CD)

  • Front-end development using JavaScript/HTML

  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and SQL databases

  • Understanding of system design patterns

  • Ability to iterate from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to production-ready applications with close user collaboration

  • Strong focus on automation and observability/instrumentation

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Data visualization experience using Tableau or similar tools

  • Willingness and ability to learn new languages/tools (e.g., 3forge, kdb+/q)

  • Exposure to real-time trading systems, and experience working with large data sets, data quality controls, data validation, and data modelling/entitlements

  • Familiarity with financial instruments across equities, options, FX, and futures
