Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

The Global Payment Operations (GPO) organization delivers global wire transfers and ACH payments for internal and external bank clients and supports end-to-end payment execution and investigations for transactions initiated through various channels. The team also provides sanctions screening on transactions for multiple products, in accordance with policies established by the Global Economic Sanctions Compliance team.

Global Payments Support & Enablement (GPSE) CoE is responsible for various Testing / Change Management engagements encompassing Payment platforms for EMEA, APAC, US and Canada regions. GPSE resources ensure Enterprise Change documentation and procedures are followed for compliance to the Change MRA2 governance.

Job Description*

GIN Product Owners are responsible for the health of the AIT they are working on by bridging the stakeholders (Product and Operations) and the technical teams. Product Owners are to have a deep understanding of the business and are able to translate change requests in a meaningful way to the technical organization. This role has management features including driving iteration goals and content, coordinating across other Product Owners and Stakeholders and establishing the acceptance criteria.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has strong experience of GIN application, Investigations process, managing the projects and communicating with stakeholders in senior management with various verticals.

  • Input requirements into JIRA
  • Participate in OpCo, Design Reviews, PI activities, and some project meetings to have the detailed information available to refine the EPICS
  • Responsible to participate, review and approve the requirements/use cases
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
  • Participate in Test Scenario reviews of testing (SQA & UAT) and ensure all the scenarios are covered.
  • Work closely with Testing Teams and review the test results, highlight inputs if any.
  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
  • Participate in daily Scrum Calls to manage backlog and clarify domain / project related queries for Design / Development & Testing teams.
  • Providing training to ops team on the scheduled changes.
  • Defect Management and Manual process workaround agreement with Ops
  • Interfacing with senior stakeholders across Tech & Ops organizations and able to gain right agreements
  • Handle appropriate project governance activities including reporting
