Process Overview*
Global Markets Credit in Enterprise Credit Organization manages Global Markets lending data and portfolio. It supports Global Markets financing products viz Clients in Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and other industries with Counterparty Credit Risk limits for trading in Global Markets. The prospective associate will be part of the team that supports the Enterprise Credit Administration (ECA) group within GMC. The ECA team supports Document Preparation, Client Onboarding, Portfolio Monitoring and booking/data issue resolution. GMC ECA team in GBS partners with the Global ECA team on these activities. Selected candidate needs to work with the LOB partners based in the US, EMEA and APAC regions.
Job Description*
The prospective candidate should have a strong knowledge of various Financial Instruments and great attention to detail. The associate should have the ability to synthesize information from various types of credit related agreements to verify the source of truth. The job requires associates to interact with the Line of Business very frequently to understand their evolving business needs and to seek clarifications on the deliverables. The job requires associates to be proficient in various reporting tools like MS-Excel, MS - PowerPoint & VBA to produce process related reports to the business.
Responsibilities*
- Preparing and/or modifying Credit Agreement Memorandums for various asset classes
- Updating NAV and performance data in the bank’s internal systems of records as per the required frequency
- Contacting clients to address issues regarding missing NAV or Fund Performance information
- Assisting in the remediation of any NAV trigger breaches resulting from data quality or other issues, which may require updating the System of Records with revised NAV or Performance data
- Designing and developing reports in MS-Excel for Management reporting
- Streamlining processes using ETL, Visualization & Programming applications
- Creating PowerPoint Presentations for the business reviews
- Extracting and summarizing key risk metrics for Hedge Funds
- Updating and maintaining Fund repositories for Regulated and Hedge Funds
- Tracking Credit Facilities that are nearing expiry or have already expired and verifying whether any renewal/extension documents have been filed
- Delivering ad-hoc requests pertaining to Portfolio Management initiatives
- Collaborating on any key business initiatives
- Anchoring new migrations from the existing and new groups in Global Markets Credit
Requirements*
- Education* MBA degree/PGDBM from reputed institutes.
- Experience Range* 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Mandatory skills*
- Ability to synthesize information from various financial documents
- Strong attention to detail to verify the source of truth of the documents
- Ability to independently host calls and lead discussions with senior executives and stakeholders to arrive at business solutions
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work in different shifts
- Desired Skills
- Applicants with expertise in Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, Python & VBA will be preferred
Work Timings*
9:30 AM to 6:30 PM & 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM – Shift timings are subjective to change depending upon the business requirements. Associates should be flexible enough to work in the revised shifts. The Process does not have any Night Shifts.
Weekend requirement*
The team currently does not work on weekends. However, applicants should be flexible to work on the weekends to meet any pressing requirements from the Business.
