The Endpoint Services Architect will be responsible for the architecture of all end user technologies and manage all aspects of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager & Mobile Device Management implementations. This individual will develop plans & goals for the desktop/mobile device environment, evaluate new technologies, and architect new enterprise solutions while maintaining best practices. The Endpoint Services Architect will also oversee daily tasks and projects performed by the Enterprise Endpoint Management team.


The Endpoint Services Architect will be responsible for the architecture of all end user technologies and manage all aspects of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager & Mobile Device Management implementations. This individual will develop plans & goals for the desktop/mobile device environment, evaluate new technologies, and architect new enterprise solutions while maintaining best practices. The Endpoint Services Architect will also oversee daily tasks and projects performed by the Enterprise Endpoint Management team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree or relevant experience

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7yrs experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager in a multi-site, enterprise environment. Minimum 2 years experience with Mobile Device Management (inTune, AirWatch, JAMF, etc.). Minimum 3+ years in a leadership role.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

•Expert knowledge/experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

• Expert knowledge of the architecture/design of enterprise desktop deployments/processes

• Expert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware and software theory, practice, concepts and technology relevant to organizational vision.

• Intermediate knowledge of project management methodology.

• Excellent knowledge/experience with Mobile Device Management solutions

• Excellent knowledge/experience with desktop operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, MacOS)

• Excellent knowledge/experience with Active Directory services including; DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy

• Excellent knowledge/experience with mobile devices/operating systems (iPhone/iPad, Android)

• Excellent knowledge/experience with Office 365

• Intermediate knowledge/experience with scripting technologies (PowerShell)

• Knowledge/experience with single sign-on solutions in a healthcare setting (Imprivata)

• Great communication skills (verbal & written) to work with novice to advanced users and in communicating technical concepts/information

• Experience with technical documentation and the creation of technical documentation

• Ability to influence technical direction at the department/enterprise level and across multiple projects or technology areas.

• Demonstrate mentoring and coaching skills

Manage all aspects of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager including system maintenance and updates. Architect, create, and maintain standardized desktop images and software packages. Work closely with the Endpoint Services Engineer to ensure that deployments and patches are configured and working correctly. Maintain reports on the status of the enterprise workstation health/performance to identify problems or trends within the environment. Design and build the Windows OS images.

Manage all aspects of the Mobile Device Management implementations. This individual will architect, develop, administer and support mobile devices using MDM. Establish and maintain the BYOD policies and procedures, working closely with IT Security to ensure proper security measures are achieved.

Work with the various IT Infrastructure and Epic teams to develop the technical direction and roadmap for all client-side solutions. Liaison and collaborate with the IT business partners to ensure the solutions provided can meet the needs of the business. This individual will identify, evaluate, and recommend new products, technologies, and strategies to improve the operating environment. In doing so, this individual will ensure compliance of client-side computing device security including; data integrity, hard drive encryption, malware/virus protection and other guidelines established by IT Security.

Serve as a Domain Administrator for the Microsoft Active Directory Domain. This will include managing and maintaining the various Active Directory services (ADUC, DHCP, DNS, GPO, etc.). Manage the Office 365 environment in conjunction with the Exchange Administrator.

Oversight of the daily tasks and projects performed by the Enterprise Endpoint Management team. Verifying that projects for the team are on task and being completed in the appropriate timeframe. Providing expert level support to the team when the situation arises.
