Pediatric Anesthesiologist Transplant Leadership Opportunity
The Department of Anesthesiology at Cincinnati Children's is looking for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the Clinical Faculty level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor to lead their transplant team. The successful candidate will be an employee of Cincinnati Children's, with an academic appointment through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine commensurate with the individual's qualifications and experience.
Key responsibilities for this role are:
- Acting as the main point of contact for kidney, TPIAT, small bowel, liver, and growing liver/heart transplants
- Certifying team members (SIMs/CME and case logs)
- Leadership responsibilities
- Conducting research and contributing to education
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent medical degree.
- Currently hold an active unrestricted medical license.
- Complete appropriate medical credentialing through Cincinnati Children's Medical Staff Service office.
- Finish all required pre-employment activities (screening, background check, badging, and orientation).
- Hold or be eligible for a faculty appointment that aligns with the individual's qualifications and experience.
- Previous clinical practice experience is required based on the specific needs of the hiring department.
Preferred:
- Board certification or Board Eligibility
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship
- Prior leadership experience
