Expected Starting Salary Range: 24.68 - 30.29
SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute is seeking an individual that will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies for internal and external audiences to support organizational goals.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Execution
Assist Heart Institute team in the project management and execution of marketing and communications tactics within divisional marketing and project plans.

Employs project management techniques to complete tasks or projects on schedule and on budget; escalates issues; regularly maintains and provides project status to supervisor and teams.

Relationship Management
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners and colleagues; Responds to requests quickly and effectively; appropriately activates additional resources and personnel to respond to issues; Effectively communicates and works with team members and external partners to accomplish tasks or projects.

Content Creation
Seeks out and develops stories and content for publishing on various communications platforms. Develops, produces, edits, distributes and tracks content. Incorporates multi-media approach to storytelling. Identifies opportunities for improvements and raises them to the appropriate individuals. Assists in maintenance of communications platforms. Works with internal 'beats' to support goals of the organization and department.
Production
Author and edit diverse print and electronic communication pieces as assigned, including but not limited to campaign materials, direct mail, patient stories, thank you letters, web content, social media posts, presentations, executive summaries, talking points, proposals and leave-behind documents. Interview patient families and craft compelling patient stories. Ensure adherence to style guidelines.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in Marketing/Communications
- Event planning experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
