Working as School-Based Social Worker a at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:
· Partner with area school districts to improve access to care within the community. This optional and confidential service is offered in addition to existing services provided by school counselors and psychologists.
· Deliver services in the school setting and are trained to work with various challenges facing youth, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, major life changes and difficulty with social relationships. Sessions are held during the school day, which provides a great deal of convenience for busy families.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Social Worker Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social work
- LISW license with the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board
- 2 – 5 years’ work-related experience
Clinical Counselor Requirements:
- Master's degree in Clinical Counseling
- LPCC license with the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board.
- 2-5 years’ work-related experience
