Join Our Team as a Donor Relations Officer on our Corporate and Community Engagement team!
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in philanthropy? Cincinnati Children's is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Donor Relations Officer II to play a crucial role in fostering relationships with donors and securing vital contributions that support our mission of improving the health and lives of children and their families.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you will develop partnerships for fundraising, manage contributions, oversee Giving Hope events, and represent Cincinnati Children's through community partnerships. You will handle donor communications, ensure commitments are met, and serve as the main contact between the hospital and its supporters.
Proposals:
Build strong relationships with companies and organizations to secure large donations of $5,000 or more.
Solicit yearly donations of $1,000 or more from individuals and family foundations.
Utilize phone calls, letters, and online messages to achieve annual donation goals of $1 million or more.
Write and follow up on correspondence to ensure donor commitments are fulfilled.
Giving Hope:
Coordinate third-party fundraising and community events benefitting Cincinnati Children's Hospital as part of the Giving Hope platform.
Attend community events as a representative of the Cincinnati Children’s development team.
Serve as a first point of contact between the hospital and the community.
General Responsibilities:
Guide fundraisers using TeamRaiser, from registration to best practices.
Strengthen ties with constituents through retention, communication, and stewardship.
Managed all school-based (K-12) giving in support of the health system
Oversee an annual portfolio exceeding $1.3 million in philanthropic contributions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
