Development Data Analyst
Are you passionate about data and driven by purpose? Join our Development team as a Development Analyst, where your work will directly support donor engagement, fundraising success, and strategic decision-making!
Job Responsibilities
Development and Analysis
- Collaborate with development leadership to build systems that identify, qualify, and move donors through the prospect pipeline.
- Provide access to donor insights and tools that support cultivation and stewardship.
- Offer feedback to improve processes and support database security and training.
- Work with professional advisors for estate administration
Reporting and Data Management
- Deliver campaign analysis and proposal reports to leadership.
- Design and implement operational reports to track fundraising progress.
- Maintain the fundraising database and manage data relationships with fundraising software.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly revenue flash reports.
Process Requirements and Documentation
- Gather, document, and refine business workflows and processes.
- Maintain and update documentation and translate workflows into user-friendly training materials.
Annual Survey Support
- Partner with financial analysts to reconcile and report data for annual fundraising-related surveys and audits.
Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and validate data outputs.
Professional Growth
- Participate in vendor training and explore learning opportunities to enhance your technical and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience managing projects and workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with donor stewardship or fundraising operations
- Project management experience is a plus
