Title: Lead Analyst - Business Intelligence

Duties: Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) seeks Lead Analyst - Business Intelligence to involve analysis of complex business problems using data to provide insight to decision makers, identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences, develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge, work with business and/or clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements, create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required/available data elements, optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user, develop business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. Representative responsibilities include: User Requirements. Gather, prepare and analyze user requirements to design, build and lead others in building complex and comprehensive Business Intelligence solutions utilizing enterprise data systems (such as Epic Slicer Dicer, Caboodle & Clarity, SAP/ Crystal, Business Objects, etc.). Set coding standards and lead code reviews. Lead change management when reporting system modifications are needed. Lead in the development of build, configuration and release management processes and meet user and technical documentation standards as set by CCHMC. Training. Oversee end-user training, adoption and education strategies. Mentor team on technical and professional skills. Potentially provide direct supervision of Associates, Analysts and Senior analysts. Technical Skill: Continually develop professional skills and lead the development of others. Maintain Epic certifications where appropriate, including obtaining additional certifications in other modules. Expand oral and written communication skills, particularly related to translating customer requirements into BI solutions and contribute to long-term system planning. Oversee the planning and execution of testing plans. Project Management. Timely completion of personally assigned tasks and assist with the execution of the tasks of others. Balance multiple project and support requirements for self and team. Analysis. Analyze strategic Business Intelligence requests to align with existing tools and processes, as well as develop roadmaps for new capabilities as needed. Assist others in solving escalated issues. Oversee the development of support plans for new solutions. Escalate unresolved issues with urgency. Seek the appropriate resources needed for activities with multiple tasks. Hybrid work schedule involving onsite work at our locations in Cincinnati, OH and Maineville, OH, and telecommuting may be permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information science or a related technical or quantitative field. 7 years of experience in data analysis or health informatics. 7 years of experience working in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau or Power BI). 7 years of experience in data management disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization and data quality, and/or other data management areas. 7 years of experience in SQL. 7 experience with Microsoft Excel performing quantitative analysis. Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling. 7 years of experience in supporting the analytic needs of operational and quality improvement teams. 7 years of experience developing analytical approaches to answer high-level questions and developing insightful recommendations. 7 years

of experience in one or more data management practices and architectures (e.g. Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Hub, etc.)

Salary: $99,278.40 - $154,336.00 (This is the salary range. Please disregard the expected starting salary range that may be listed elsewhere on this posting).
