JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy and Functionality Development - Develop and execute strategies that optimize Workday HCM system utilization and drive measurable business value with a focus on functional HCM enhancements that directly support departmental and organizational strategic objectives. Effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement functional solutions that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence. Leverage Workday HCM capabilities to evaluate and support process improvements, enabling effective change management and organizational growth. Prioritize initiatives that enhance the end-user experience while improving efficiency and accelerating delivery timelines. Proactively research and recommend system enhancements to further align processes with strategic goals.

  • Program Implementation - Manage multiple projects across all functional HCM areas to identify and deliver opportunities for improving and optimizing the HCM system through periodic product releases and new functionality. Ensure all enhancements align with business objectives and meet end-user requirements. Assist with recurring HCM release processes by proactively leveraging HCM systems and application functionality to solve problems and support organizational needs. Promotes and provides guidance, resources, and knowledge of the capabilities within the HCM platform across the organization.

  • Consultation - Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize, design, and implement HCM solutions while serving as a subject matter expert on current and emerging capabilities. Collaborate to prioritize enhancements, define requirements, and support testing across all HCM functional areas. Work closely with business leads, analysts, and development teams to manage platform updates and improvements in alignment with other organizational software. Promote continuous HCM learning and knowledge sharing across the organization and provide expert guidance on Workday HCM functionality for both enhancements and day-to-day operations.

  • Communication & Relationship Management - Manage communications and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders. Draft, edit, and deliver clear written and verbal updates, resources for employees, and facilitate small group discussions to ensure alignment. Keep cross-functional team members across the organization informed in a timely and consistent manner. Provide change management, communication, and testing subject matter expert support across all HCM functional areas as needed.

  • HCM Insights, Policy, and Governance Support - Develop and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations—including tables, graphs, and trend analyses—while ensuring data integrity and adherence to established definitions. Collaborate with internal teams to review, interpret, and analyze policies that guide the design, rules, and processes within Workday HCM, ensuring alignment with governance standards. Document processes to enable repeatability and continuous improvement of HCM practices and proactively recommend policy updates when necessary to enhance workforce efficiency, compliance, and care delivery.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
