Expected Starting Salary Range:

Rep I - $17 – 19/hr

Rep II - $18 – 21/hr

40hrs per week

Location: Liberty & Mason, OH

THIS POSITION WILL ROTATE BETWEEN OUR LIBERTY PRIMARY CARE AND MASON PRIMARY CARE LOCATIONS. IT WOULD CONSIST OF MONDAY - FRIDAY HOURS 7:30 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. ONE DAY WOULD BE 10:30 A.M. TO 7:00 P.M. THIS POSITION WOULD CONSIST OF SATURDAY HOURS EVERY THIRD SATURDAY, THE HOURS WOULD BE 7:30 A.M. TO 12:00 P.M. WEEKS WHEN WORKING A SATURDAY, THE EMPLOYEE WOULD BE OFF ONE DAY DURING THE WEEK.

Physical and mental health wellness programs

Working as a Patient Access Representative at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:

Provide assistance and services to patients, families, staff and external agencies in the accurate completion of patient registration, admission and scheduling. Investigate and resolve customer requests, questions or problems according to CCHMC policies and procedures.

Support the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory by ensuring that the necessary data, information and forms are obtained and accurately entered into the appropriate system.

Ensure patient safety by identifying the correct patient. identifying special needs and preparing isolation precautions for patients who have Infectious Disease indicators.

Maintain confidentiality, protect and safeguard patient/family personal medical and financial information at all times during collection, use and storage. Access only information and records necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position.

Complete and authenticate all documents and questionnaires that ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (JCAHO, CMS, ODH)

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Rep I - No related experience required

Rep II - 2+ years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare related experience

Knowledge of EPIC or other similar EMR systems

Proficient with MS Office, and Windows applications

Medical terminology knowledge
