Expected Starting Salary: $19.75-24/hr

As an Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Provide administrative assistance to employees or groups in the organization.
  • Use business software applications (e.g., word processing, presentation and spreadsheet) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
  • Provides assistance and services to patient, families, staff, and external agencies in the accurate completion of patient registration and scheduling.
  • Investigates and resolves customer requests, questions, or problems, according to policies and procedures.
  • Contacts outside representatives to obtain information or assistance in resolving problems.
  • Maintains confidentiality and protects and safegaurds patient/family personal, medical, and financial information at all times during collection, use, and storage. Access only information and records necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Perform tasks related to receiving storing and distributing equipment and supplies. Check goods received against purchase orders, invoices, records, and budget. Deliver materials to appropriate area and store.
  • Maintain files, records, calendars, and diaries. May arrange business travel, coordinate meeting arrangements, and/or track expenses.
  • Acts as a liaison with payroll and assists with completion of HR forms.
  • Plan and oversee special events, programs, conferences, and symposiums. May work with outside vendors.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
  • Experience with patient scheduling (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word (preferred)
