C-SUPR Producer Resources Inc. seeks a brokerage specialty team leader. This role is responsible for managing a team of Excess and Surplus brokerage underwriters, monitoring risk selection and compliance with binding authority agreements, driving strategic growth objectives and managing a number of key agency relationships.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and foster relationships with both internal and external customers, have a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, and possess well-developed underwriting judgement and a track record of delivering desired outcomes.
This position will be based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- review new and renewal policies issued by underwriters on the team
- check for proper use of terms and conditions and price relevant to the risks insured in accordance with binding authority agreements
- collaborate with and counsel team members on individual risks
- gather and monitor market trend information, new entrants, new products and changes in pricing and terms
- assess and monitor progress toward achieving team and associate goals
- participate in and contribute to C-SUPR management meetings
- develop and help associates realize their potential and career goals
- underwrite key agency small business relationships
- administer annual associate reviews
- travel with team members in their respective territories to solicit business and develop relationships with agents
Be equipped with:

- deep understanding of the Lloyd’s of London marketplace
- technical underwriting acumen and negotiating skills
- analytical skills and the ability to understand binding authority agreements

Bring education or experience from:
- a bachelor's degree or relevant insurance experience
- designations like the CPCU, CIC, ASLI, etc. (preferred)
- prior Excess and Surplus brokerage or Lloyd’s experience (preferred)
- prior leadership experience (preferred)
