Our Field Claims department seeks a field development trainer. This role is responsible for establishing and leading a consistent, scalable training and enablement strategy across Field Claims to enhance current training, strengthen associate performance and enhance engagement.
This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Some departments at our Headquarters offer a hybrid work option that may vary depending on your role and responsibilities.
The pay range for this position is $82,000 - $116,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- design, implement and maintain a standardized training framework for Field Claims that aligns with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- partner with Learning & Development to build training schedules, develop curriculums, monitor outcomes and maintain comprehensive training records
- deliver and coordinate instructor-led training, virtual learning sessions and field-based coaching focused on claims adjustment processes, investigation quality and regulatory compliance.
- analyze performance data and key performance indicators to identify trends, training gaps and opportunities to improve recruit, train and evaluate trainers and presenters; delegate and oversee training delivery as appropriate
- facilitate peer-led learning, coaching and engagement forums that promote collaboration, shared learning and continuous improvement
- collect and analyze feedback from associates and leaders to continuously refine training programs and delivery methods
- coordinate new hire orientation and mentor assignments to support onboarding and early success
Be equipped with:
- strong learning agility, curiosity and the ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and approaches
- critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify root causes and recommend actionable solutions
- collaborative skills with a demonstrated ability to listen actively, leverage diverse perspectives and establish clear commitments with partners
- exceptional organization and planning capabilities, including managing multiple initiatives and translating ideas into execution
- the ability to communicate effectively with field staff, leadership and cross-functional partners
- familiarity with performance measurement, reporting and continuous improvement methodologies
Bring education and experience from:
- a bachelor’s degree
- prior experience in claims training, enablement, learning & development or field claims leadership (preferred)
- experience developing and delivering blended learning solutions, including instructor-led training, eLearning, microlearning and field coaching
- experience leveraging analytics, dashboards and performance data to drive consistency and continuous improvement
- a background that supports coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
