General Statement of Duties
Minimum Qualifications (KSAs)

- Facilitates well-established and documented programming
- Supports launch and execution of pilot programs
- Gathers updates and shares communications on behalf of the department
- Attends community outreach events to represent the department
- Answers communications, questions, and complaints by email, phone, or in person
- Maintains and updates public communication tools
The role will be based in City Hall with some duties occurring off-site on an intermittent basis. Access to transportation is required.
The position is designed to be a time-limited experience. The Intern will have the option to apply for any available and applicable roles within the department or the city upon conclusion of the internship.
Specific OES Program Role Options:
- Zero waste support
- Youth climate action support
- Green workforce marketing
- Food program and policy support
- Communications support including website, social media, and outreach events
- And other needs as they arise and are appropriate

In order to qualify for the Seasongood Internship, individuals must be:
- Undergraduate or graduate students
- Interested in public service as a potential career path
- A U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident,
- Able to submit a City job application for employment
Due to the focus of the Seasongood Internship, priority will be given to candidates who are undergraduate college students ideally transitioning between sophomore and junior years or junior years and senior years.
