Job Summary
As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing COA’s care management platform, CareDirector. You’ll translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and user-centered. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level BA ready to grow into a Principal-level position and influence enterprise-wide systems strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery and documentation for large-scale system enhancements, including new entities, workflows, and integrations
- Translate business needs into clear, complete user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Create and maintain Agile artifacts (user stories, backlogs, wireframes, process flows) and flex between Agile and Waterfall approaches as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders across care management, compliance, IT, and training to ensure alignment and adoption
- Ensure all system changes comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Support QA and training teams with documentation, testing, and user onboarding
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, in healthcare or care management
- Proven experience leading large-scale system implementations or enhancements
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and its application in system design
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence); ability to flex between Agile and Waterfall
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
