Location: Blue Ash, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hrs / week
Pay Range: Starting at $70,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary
As the Supervisor, Human Resources Administration, you will coordinate daily HR operations, supervise HR staff, and ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. Your work strengthens the systems and people who power COA’s mission by improving access, equity, and support for thousands of older adults and caregivers across the region. You’ll oversee HR administration, payroll and benefits processes, onboarding, HRIS management, and regulatory reporting, creating a seamless employee experience from hire to retirement.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Workforce Support
- Lead, train, and evaluate HR staff; distribute workload and manage performance
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and mission-centered HR environment
HR Operations & Systems Oversight
- Maintain accurate personnel records and oversee HRIS data integrity
- Manage HR administrative processes and documentation workflows
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Support development of innovative HR programs to engage COA’s workforce
Compliance, Reporting & Auditing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Complete regulatory audit requests (ODA, pension, Medicaid, and internal audits)
- Apply labor laws and organizational policies consistently across HR actions
Payroll, Benefits & Employee Relations
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration
- Provide guidance and support for employee inquiries
- Manage employment verifications and prepare reports for Accounting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or SHRM certification
- At least 3 years’ experience in payroll and benefits administration
- 2+ years’ experience coaching and conducting adult training
- Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, data entry, and HR systems
