The Albany Last mile operation is a cross-dock operation. We receive wine and spirits from several large distributors and cross dock them for final mile delivery across the regions. The Albany hub is growing and needs a strong hub leader with a background in transportation and leading a multi-shift operation

Primary Role Responsibilities

• Control / Monitor a fleet of 15-25 box truck vehicles and CDL A line Haul drivers
• Develop a team of 15-25 Non CDL and CDL Last mile delivery drivers in delivering wine and spirits in the Albany, NY area
• Provide oversight over a multi-shift operation with a sortation operation occurring overnight of goods received and palletizing product for next day delivery
• Transportation background highly recommended
• Strong skill set in change management while being able to develop solutions unfamiliar processes and problems
• Managing proactive customer centric communication both with our suppliers, final mile customers and our delivery driver/associates.
