Job Title: Clamp Operator- Inventory Control

Wage Classification Category E / Starting wage $18.65/hour (+ $1/hr for shift differential for 2nd shift)
Hours: 1st shift –; Monday - Friday, 7:00am –; 3:30pm (may vary)
2nd shift –; Monday - Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am (may vary)
Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Reports To: Ricardo Garnica, Inventory Control Supervisor

Role Purpose:
Responsible for operating powered clamp equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using clamp equipment 80% of specified shift.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
- Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
- Six months warehouse experience, preferred
- Six months forklift operation experience

| Additional Responsibilities |
| - Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded. - Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements. - Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.). - Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls. - Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance. |
