The core responsibilities of this role include: Very physical work, heavy lifting with fragile cases of various liquids.

Position: SLG Warehouse Sortation
Shift: 8pm-6:30am Monday-Thursday
Pay: $20.75 per hour + $2.00 shift differential
Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for attendance bonuses

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• A minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Needs to be able to on feet all day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate use of safety devices and equipment, general housekeeping, and maintain a constant vigilance for hazardous conditions and practices.
• Operate the automated sortation system and process.
• Maintain the system in regards to ergonomics and organization.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and load management.
• Hours of operation are from 6pm – Finish.Monday – Thursday
• Be able to repetitively lift cases with proper safety precautions (5am)for a full shift
• Be able to pay close attention to detailed labeling and routing schedules.
• Some knowledge of computer and routing software a plus.
• Ability to operate electric hand jack and forklift.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to adjust to changing environments and volumes at a moment’s notice.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Routing Program, Tablet and Phone App a plus
• Physical ability to: communicate clearly and accurately; frequently move items weighing up to 75 pounds; Work in a loud environment with machines running; operate a computer and other office equipment.
