Operations Supervisor - Distribution

This role will compensate between$60,000 to $70,000.
This role is designed to work primarily in ops support. Ideally this role will have a 70.30 split where 70% will consist of systems support/IT support/ops support and 30% will be spent on the floor working with our hourly associates to complete daily workload.

- Repairing equipment if it can be done at the site level
- Opening tickets if repairs cannot be done at the site level
- Managing inventory on all IT hardware

- Handling upgrades with DHL IT Team
- Managing CCS updates
- First point of contact for CCS team
- On site with CCS when they are in the building for service calls
- Creating SOPs on how to resolve CCS issues

- Managing WMI system updates/testing/issues
- Perform testing in WMS test environment
- Partner with systems team on upgrades to WMS
- Reprocessing messages in DHL Link
- Item slotting
- Designated person to connect with IT team and handle system outages

Job Description:
- Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations.
- Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
- 1+ years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, preferred.
- 1+ years logistics industry experience, preferred.
- Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, preferred.
