Position: Inventory Control Clerk

Shift: 1^st Shift- Monday - Friday 4:00am to 12:30pm with potential OT opportunities

Pay: $22 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk to support daily inventory operations at DHL Prestige Moreno Valley. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, managing returns processing, and ensuring proper handling and documentation of waste or damaged goods including hazardous waste materials. Perform KPI driven daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies and report findings. Receive and process returned goods, ensuring proper inspection, disposition, and documentation. Perform Count Back audits. Manage waste including Haz waste materials in compliance with company procedures and environmental/safety guidelines. Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (Blue Yonder). Assist in maintaining clean and organized stock areas. Support Quarterly Cycle Count Audis.Communicate effectively with warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to resolve inventory issues. Qualifications: 1–;2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or related environment. Familiarity WMS systems (Blue Yonder). Basic math, data entry, and recordkeeping skills. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and operate material handling equipment (if certified). Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. Hazardous materials (HazMat) handling is required for this position. Certification is preferred, but training will be provided if the candidate is not yet certified. Preferred Skills:Experience with returns or reverse logistics. Understanding of waste handling procedures (e.g., damaged goods, expired materials, Haz waste). Knowledge of cycle count methodologies (ABC counting, Batch counting, slot checks, etc.). MHE experience with Stock Picker, Reach, and Pacer a plus.

Role Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
