The core responsibilities of this role include:
Position:Logistics Operations Coordinator
Shift: Weekend A Shift: Friday –; Sunday 7am-7pm
Pay:$19.75 per hour plus $1.50 Shift Differential for Weekend Shift
Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify monthly attendance bonuses.
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: strong computer skills to include MS Outlook & Excel familiarity, Outbound Dock Experience, Production, Warehouse, General Labor.
- 6 months –; 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
- Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Role Purpose:
Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
- Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
- Track and trace all shipments.
- Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
- Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
- Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
- Proactively identify problems to management.
- Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
- Prepare client invoice packets
- Confirm rates with carriers.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
- 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
- Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
