The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Process customer orders and prepare correspondence to meet service requirements
- Provide product, service, and transit information to customers
- Communicate effectively via phone and email with transportation providers and internal operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- File daily and monthly paperwork
- Manage office tools, equipment, and supplies
- Prepare service reports by collecting and analyzing customer data
- Assist with order and product management
- Verify data entry and transactions for inbound and outbound shipments
- Support team objectives and perform additional duties as assigned by management
Position: Customer Service Representative
Shift: 1st Shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00am to 6:00pm, Every other Wednesday 6:00am to 6:00pm
Pay: $19.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Customer service in a logistics or transportation environment
- Dispatch or Transportation Management System (TMS) experience for scheduling truckloads or LTL shipments
- Effective communication with carriers and clients to coordinate pickups and resolve issues
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with commercial Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as JDA, Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, SAP
- Familiarity with View software and ability to navigate customer portals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric team environment

Role Purpose:
Process orders and prepare correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Responsible for providing product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution.
Key Accountabilities:
- Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer’s complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain customer records and update account information.
- Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
- Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Assist with order and product management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0-12 months of system, data entry or reporting experience
- 0-12 months of warehouse experience, preferred
