The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Team Supervision: Oversee and coach the direct labor force; support staff in meeting daily targets and productivity goals.
- Operational Support: Perform hands-on warehouse tasks while guiding team performance; open and close facilities following security procedures.
- Inventory & Accuracy: Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Safety & Compliance: Inspect work areas regularly to ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to food safety/quality standards.
- Systems & Efficiency: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor workflow, allocate resources, and drive efficiency.
- Communication: Act as a link between associates and Operations Supervisor, ensuring clear direction and feedback.
Position: Team Leader
Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday
Pay: $19 per hour
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Familiarity with MHE is preferred.
- Ability to push, lift, carry, pull, and/or throw up to 50 pounds.
