The core responsibilities of this role is to verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of Exel. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution. Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and Exel’s WM System; - Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets. - Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting. - Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer. - Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies. - Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution. - Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.

Position: Inventory Control Clerk

Shift: Sunday - Thursday (9p to 5a)

Pay: $20.00/hr plus $1/hr shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

- 1-3 yars’ experience Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system.

- Working experience with cycle count and inventory control

- Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex

- Working knowledge of SAP inventory system

- Working Knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft software: Excel and Word, Access and Project knowledge a plus

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain inventory records.
  • Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
  • Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
  • Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
  • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
