Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates, and monitors corporate health, occupational safety, and environmental programs, promoting outcomes and recommending improvements to create a safe and healthy work environment for DESC employees, including education and training.
• Provides feedback on historical inspections and follows up, suggesting areas for improvement to operations personnel and upper management.
• Creates new initiatives and programs related to injury and accident prevention.
• Arranges ergonomic evaluations of job designs and workplace layouts, and oversees the conduct and monitoring of health, occupational safety, and environmental inspections and audits.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, and work instructions related to HSE, based on established goals and objectives that align with the company's strategic direction.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience both in Health & Safety background
• Knowledgeable of occupational health, safety, and environment, including legal requirements
• Communication and presentation skills, as well as negotiation skills
• Ability to listen and communicate in English reasonably well
• Good communication in Thai
• Able to work 6 days/week at DC Makro Mahachai required
