This role is employed with Cameron logistics Pty Ltd as wholly owned by DHL Supply chain (Australia) Pty Ltd.
In this job you will:
Be reporting to the Site Manager, the Route Supervisor will be responsible for high volume, time sensitive, distribution and management of packaged beverages deliveries across SA but not limited to this area as required.
- Ensure all elements of fleet operation are met efficiently with maximum optimisation of vehicles, drivers and equipment
- Support our team to carry out their role with safety, efficiency and ensure compliance to all statutory requirements including fatigue management.
- Ensure outstanding customer service standards are achieved.
- Meet all safety and operational targets in line with delivery schedules and business plans.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and in place.
- Provide a safe working environment for all team members
- Continuous commitment to process improvement in liaison with key stakeholders
- Update KPI’s as directed
- Development and effective management of company fleet
About you:
- Very good communication skills.
- Experience with Route Allocation and an understanding of scheduling multi drops deliveries
- You have a ‘Can do’ attitude and are a quick learner.
- Ability to think quickly for best outcomes for the customer, those you supervise and the company.
- Be a strong and efficient leader in safety and compliance.
- Capable of working through complex challenges in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Proven experience in consistently delivering results and continuous commitment to improvement
- Experience in the transport industry.
- Medium to high level skills in Microsoft Office suite.
