1. Purpose

Responsible for all monitoring fleet operations for retrieval & carting purposes. Ensure timely and accurate connections of loads via the dedicated network.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan BDA flight requirements in line with the designed network in co-ordination with BDA to ensure capacity optimization at the lowest costs
  • Ensure connections of loads from service centers onto Hub through a dedicated network plan.
  • Maintain the Air Network Master and update the Network Service Guide, Area Masters, Transit Time Masters, etc. for ensuring correct routing and adherence of transit commitments to customers
  • Identify requirements for use of commercial flights and negotiate contracts for commercial air-lift as per business requirements
  • Continuously work towards identification of opportunities for network optimization and utilization

People

  • Develop Team Capability and provide continuous support for ensuring effective execution of the tasks.
  • Provide direction, guidance and support to the International staff employees to help them discharge their duties effectively
  • Ensure International capability building for the team
  • Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team’s capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline
