Role Overview

The Financial Assistant will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments to vendors. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for supplier master data process and supplier onboarding.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Administration & maintenance of PtP workflow software Invoice track and tradeshift
  • Update vendor information and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Oversee the processing of employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely disbursement.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations in relation to Accounts payable
  • Implementation of process changes where necessary.
  • Active support of the Finance team in other relevant topics and processes, e.g. month-end closing or internal controls assessment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills within Finance towards business functions
  • Proactive approach, task and goal orientated
  • Team player
  • Demonstrates flexibility when supporting peak workload periods
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

HOURS/SHIFT PATTERN: 37.5 hours per week – Office based

REPORTS TO: Head of Finance & Controlling
