Job Purpose:

As an IT Product Manager, you will define and execute the product roadmap for Procurement IT solutions, including feature planning and prioritization, ensuring delivery of products that meet business needs and enterprise standards.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications that improve both business processes and underlying technical architecture.

Your role ensures that products are delivered in line with business strategy, while continuously improving usability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise guidelines and policies.

Key tasks:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned Procurement IT products and applications, including introduction, operation, and decommissioning, as well as roadmap and feature definition aligned with business strategy, corporate objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.
  • Plan and coordinate product roadmaps and releases end-to-end, managing scope, timelines, resources, procurement of required services/hardware, testing, and risk/issue tracking in close collaboration with distributed teams.
  • Establish and apply product management and delivery best practices, ensuring clear scope definition, milestones, decision-making structures, and escalation paths across stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison for business partners, IT teams, and vendors to align solution options and requirements (architecture standards, UX/CX, compliance, accessibility) and define roadmap priorities.
  • Monitor market, vendor, and technology trends to identify requirements, assess architectural options for the business portfolio, and define risks and mitigation strategies in solution design.
  • Ensure end-to-end solution integrity by reviewing designs and delivery outputs against enterprise architecture principles and defined standards, and drive consistent adoption across teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including architecture, technologies, interfaces, and ensure correct records in the IT catalog (service scope, dependencies, status, lifecycle phase).
  • Embed security, compliance, data protection, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SiKo, DPR) into product design and delivery, and support continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Your profile:

  • 5–6+ years of professional experience in IT Product Management, IT Solution Architecture, IT Consulting, or similar roles; experience in Procurement IT is a strong advantage, but we are also open to candidates from other enterprise IT backgrounds.
  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Experience managing and delivering international, cross-functional IT projects.
  • Good understanding of enterprise IT domains such as data management, Identity & Access Management (IAM), service management (ITIL), CRM, IT security, and GDPR.
  • Knowledge of Agile and enterprise delivery frameworks such as Scrum, DevOps, ITIL, PRINCE2, Azure Solution Architecture, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with Procurement platforms (e.g. Coupa and/or SAP Ariba) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus.

We offer:

  • Build your career with the world’s leading logistics company
  • Work in a diverse, international environment.
  • Grow through continuous learning and development
  • Enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • Car / Car Allowance
